====== Heim Chapter 7 Data with Original Data Sources ======
IRIG 106 Chapter 7 describes a method for transporting variable-length, well-defined data formats in a Chapter 4 pulse code modulation (PCM) stream. IRIG 106 standard packet telemetry defines the method for asynchronously inserting data from one or more data streams into PCM minor frames. The Chapter 7 standard defines various packet types that
are used to encapsulate well-defined data formats, including:
* Chapter 10 packets
* Chapter 24 TmNS Messages
* Ethernet frames
Typically many different types of IRIG 106 Chapter 10/11 data types are encoded and sent via Chapter 7 encapsulation. Below are two Chapter 10 recorded data files. One file is a standard Chapter 10 recording of many data types. The second recorded data file is just a recording of the resultant Chapter 7 PCM data stream.
